Over the past decade Lyn has held the role of Estimating Assistant, contributing to many successful tenders and submissions. Recognised as the ‘go to’ person for her knowledge of Taylor processes, projects and business history, Lyn grew as the company did. Learning on the job and becoming more and more tech savvy, she remembers receiving Tenders on a USB, printing documents on large scale plan printers, and hand-delivering bulk copies, to then adopting digital processes and managing submissions electronically through tender portals and websites.
Lyn’s favourite memory would be her site visit of the Sydney Opera House – a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes. With her background of working on site, she has always loved getting out of the office, walking around the sites and understanding how a build and fitout all comes together.
