The day kicked off with a team building activity hosted by @BeChallenged where we got to see everyone’s creative side. Groups were formed and each team was responsible for painting several canvases that would ultimately join together to create ‘the big picture’. We quickly learnt that for this to be successful we had to communicate with other teams to ensure that the adjoining canvas colour palettes would come together for a successful result.

All canvases were joined together and our masterpiece was revealed to the team. We were pretty excited about the final result!

The second part of the day involved a business update from our leaders, insights into FY22 post-COVID, and an interactive Q&A session. A second panel of diverse team members, from different functions of the business, were invited up to the stage to share challenges they face in their role and their goals and priorities are for the year ahead.

The team then enjoyed Taylor’s annual awards lunch recognising the achievements of many project teams and individuals in the business.

We were honoured to have special guests Former Australian Cricket Captain & Australian of the Year, Mark Taylor and Director Jack Hughes of Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation join us for lunch. Taylor has partnered with Sporting Chance over the past two years at our annual charity golf day where we have raised $140K to support the work of the foundation in providing mobile home care units that help make life easier for children with cancer and outreach programs for kids with cancer from regional areas.

We presented both Mark & Jack with a cheque for $75, 699.30 from our 2021 Golf Day, which could not have been achieved without the generous support of our loyal subcontractors and suppliers.

Congratulations again to all of our deserving award winners.

Thank you to @AustralianTurfClub and @BeChallenged for helping to make our day such a great success.
