The Royal Flying Doctor Service is a non-profit organisation which provides emergency and primary health care services for those living in rural and remote areas of Australia who cannot access a hospital due to the vast distances of the outback.
Taylor has supported this important cause over the past 10 years by sponsoring Clive Wickham, our passionate Chief Financial Officer, in the Outback Car Trek. The Trek is an important event that donates all funds raised each year to the RFDS.
This year the trek started in West Wyalong with Clive hitting the dirt road in a 1965 Ford Mustang built by Clive’s brother specifically for the trek. A week on the road and approximately 3,400 kilometres later, the group finished up in Port Macquarie. Collectively, all participants raised in excess of $1.5 million for this important cause.
