Chatswood Place is Platino’s newest luxury residential complex consisting of five buildings, retail and commercial business premises, carparking, childcare, restaurants and expansive resident only gardens.

The residential component includes 223 apartments, four levels of basement, common podium, rooftop gardens and pool facilities with extensive landscaping and the restoration of a heritage building.

Taylor worked closely with Platino in a preferred contractor position for six months prior to being engaged as the principal contractor.

During this time, Taylor assisted with design concepts, material selection, coordination with consultants, early subcontractor involvement, compliance concerns, detail resolution, value engineering, preliminary pricing and programming and final resolution of works.

By contributing significantly during the early design both Taylor and Platino were able to thoroughly review all options and establish a well resolved methodology that has progressed into a negotiated contract.
