Ku-ring-gai Council engaged Taylor for the delivery of their new SES and RFS Services Depot to the North side of Golden Jubilee Field, North Wahroonga.

The project consisted of the demolition of existing Bushfire Depot and construction of new Ku-ring-gai State Emergency Service and Rural Fire Services buildings

Construction included three new single storey buildings, 2 with mezzanines comprising amenities, training rooms, meeting rooms, offices, kitchens, truck parking, storage areas and multi-function areas.

In addition to this, Construction of new car-parking, road access, hardstand areas and modifications to existing roadways and a combination of hard and soft landscaping.

The isolation of the site posed some difficulties with existing services requiring upgrading from the nearest main road Esk Street, through the Golden Jubilee Field meaning a close working relationship with both Council and the General Public was required.

The Team has enjoyed working on the Project as well as building on the strong relationship formed with Ku-ring-gai Council after the successful completion of Ku-ring-gai Council Depot.
