Taylor delivered a new two storey multi-purpose community resource hub, major refurbishment and extension to the Mt Druitt Community Centre under a design and construct contract.

This contemporary facility services the needs of numerous sectors within the local community and provides a space to meet, learn, collaborate and come together.  The resource hub includes training and meetings rooms, designated areas for health and welfare practitioners and an extension to the existing library with expanded IT capabilities.

The project was delivered in a live environment with all surrounding buildings to remain operational during construction. To mitigate the risk to public safety caused by limited access to the site, The Taylor team implemented stringent OH&S policies and procedures. Taylor worked collaboratively with Blacktown City Council to ensure milestones were reached on time, which was an important requirement for Council to receive the necessary Federal Government funding.
