Taylor raises over $65K in support of Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation

Rain, hail or shine the Taylor Charity Golf Day took place on Wednesday, 24th February 2021 where we welcomed our supplier and subcontractor partners for the fifth consecutive year for a day of golf, networking and most importantly fundraising activities to support the important work of the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation. This event has become an important date on the Taylor annual calendar. Together, over the past five years we have raised more than $300,000 to help make a difference by supporting the important work of our chosen charities.

Due to Covid-19 the foundation had to cancel annual 2020 fundraising activities that would have raised over $150K. These funds are heavily relied upon each year. It was our combined efforts for the 2020 Taylor Charity Golf Day that truly made a difference and contributed to the key funding that allowed Sporting Chance to continue supporting nurses in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide for their outreach programs.

This year, Taylor has once again partnered with Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation. This incredible not-for-profit organisation supports mobile home care units that help make life easier for children with cancer and outreach programs for kids with cancer from regional areas.  On the day, we were joined by Former Australian Cricket Captain, Australian of the Year and founder of Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation, Mark Taylor, and Director, Jack Hughes, who gave insights into the life-changing work of the foundation. Without the support of You – our loyal suppliers and subcontractors – this day would not be possible.

On behalf of Taylor we would like to thank our loyal suppliers and subcontractors for your generous support and participation – this day would not be possible without you.
