The expansion and refurbishment to Rydges Campbelltown involved the construction of 38 new guest rooms, new conference / meeting rooms, amenities, vertical transportation and a new outdoor terrace on Level 1 linking to existing hotel corridors. During construction, soft refurbishment works were carried out to 116 guest rooms and corridor finishes and fitments to facilitate a consistent look throughout. The scope of works also included an upgrade to the existing kitchen with new equipment to service the expanded meeting / function demand and rectification works to the existing hotel exterior.

Rydges Campbelltown is a contemporary 4.5-star hotel accommodation and an ideal social and business hub for guests. The hotel is open to the public but boasts facilities targeted for business workers.

This expansion now allows conference facilities to seat 200 attendees, and also a new undercover Wedding Ceremony and Reception venue – this also includes a Food & Beverage upgrade to cater for the venue. Many formal events are held within the precincts Catholic Club, Entertainment Centre and Hotel, so the additional rooms will be accessible to a larger crowd. This quality upgrade maximises the amount of guests it can cater for and provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience within their stay.

The hotel and club remained fully functional throughout the project, Taylor restricted noise levels throughout the whole construction phase to ensure that the guests as well as the neighbouring popular facilities were not disturbed throughout the duration of the works.
