Continuing our history of partnering with Goodman, Taylor has now delivered Proximity@Botany. The project involved a new 5.7-hectare industrial development offering modern warehouse and office spaces in the heart of Banksmeadow.

Conveniently located close to Sydney’s port, airport and major arterial road networks, the facility comprises a generous 31,000sqm of high-quality facilities with the flexibility to split into smaller warehouse spaces ranging in size from as small as 3,000sqm.

Other key features of the project include on-grade and recessed docks, a 45m heavy-duty hardstand, ESFR sprinklers, LED lighting and a 15m wide awning for all-weather loading. Externally, there is outdoor seating areas with landscaping, and car and bike parking spaces.

A key challenge for the project was ensuring the correct sequencing of the build works with the civil works to provide efficient delivery. Taylor leveraged our extensive experience in delivering high-quality industrial projects similar in nature to overcome this challenge.

During the tender, Taylor offered several efficient engineering solutions for Goodman’s consideration. Examples of these include interior finishes and electrical services alternatives.
