Taylor undertook the demolition and redevelopment of the existing Drum Store at Orora Revesby, transforming it into a purpose-built mechanical plant room to support a new high-capacity aluminum can production line. Works included construction of a new structural frame, installation of roofing and cladding systems, and integration of complex mechanical infrastructure to house pumps and condensers critical to the production process.
Additionally, the project involved detailed excavation and construction of an Ausgrid specification, fire-rated, blast-resistant substation enclosure – featuring blockwork walls, a reinforced concrete slab, and a concrete roof—to accommodate both LV and HV equipment and meet the significant power requirements of the new production line.
