Clive Wickham Celebrates His 20th Anniversary

Congratulations on this monumental career milestone, Clive. We are proud to celebrate it with you.

It’s January 2003 – Andre Agassi wins his 8th Grand Slam title in the Australian Open, Nokia holds a 56.9% market share for mobile phones, and Clive Wickham joins Taylor as Finance Director.

Twenty years later, the world and Taylor have changed.

Instead of a small group of employees working from Norwest Business Park, we now manage sites with more than 1,500 workers across NSW on any given day. The Taylor Team now services clients across six core divisions, offering integrated design, construction and development services. We’ve also had our fair share of adventures along the way, like participating in Tour de PIF and Hard Hat Day to raise funds for the Property Industry Foundation.

For more than 10 years, Clive has participated in the Outback Car Trek – an annual event raising much-needed funds in support of the The Royal Flying Doctor Service. In 2021, Clive hit the dirt road in West Wyalong in a 1965 Ford Mustang, built by his brother specifically for the trek. One week and 3,400 kilometres later, the group finished in Port Macquarie, with all participants raising in excess of $1.5 million.

Throughout it all, Clive has played a pivotal role in Taylor’s growth – now, as Chief Financial Officer.

Responsible for Taylor’s financial and business operations, Clive has driven financial reporting, legal and statutory compliance to ensure that all dealings are in accordance with industry best-practice. He has also been integral to the introduction and embedding of the family culture and ESG strategies that we are so proud of.

Clive’s measured approach is reflected in the continual growth of the business, and his projections and guidance provide the management team with a clear basis to formulate strategic plans and direction. Highly regarded for his intelligence and caring, practical demeanour, Clive’s influence and impact is as widely felt across the organisation now as it was in 2003.

Clive – thank you for your diligence and unwavering work ethic. It is an honour to celebrate the past 20 years with you. Congratulations!
