Empowering Women in the Construction Industry Inspiring Breakfast Event

Industry leaders and learners unite for a morning of networking, knowledge sharing, and celebration of women’s achievements in construction technology.

In a collaborative effort to empower women in the construction industry, Taylor partnered with Microsoft to co-host a Women in Construction Breakfast at one of our Data Centre Projects. The event brought together industry peers and working learners, including students from TAFE NSW Institute of Applied Technology – Construction and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), for a morning of networking, knowledge sharing and a facilitated site tour.

The breakfast provided a unique platform for women in the industry to connect, share insights, and explore the latest advancements in construction technology. A highlight of the event was a fun and interactive quiz featuring interesting statistics and facts about the industry. Congratulations to Isabella Di Nardo on winning first prize!

Taylor is dedicated to advocating for and supporting women in the construction industry. Events like this highlight the incredible opportunities and rewarding careers available in the field.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Microsoft to host this event,” said Lulu Zhang, Contract Administrator at Taylor. “It’s initiatives like these that allow us to showcase the amazing potential and talent within our industry.”

The event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of industry guests and partners, including the Property Council of Australia (PCA), the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), UTS, and TAFE NSW. Taylor extends its gratitude to all partners for their participation.
