George Boutros Clocks a Decade of Service at Taylor

Taylor is proud to celebrate George Boutro’s 10 years of service with us! With 22 years’ experience in the construction industry, George is a highly respected and supportive member of the team who has helped deliver an array of large-scale projects in his role of Site Manager.

During his extensive time in the industry, George has attained valuable skills across many functions. Notably, his expertise in site supervision, subcontractor management, project management, and ensuring WHSE compliance has led him to becoming a well-respected Site Manager within the industry.

Primarily working with our Refurbishment and Live Environments division, George has delivered projects across a diverse range of sectors including Rosebery Engine Yards, Campbelltown Hospital Stage 2 Refurbishment Works 2, Pendle Hill High School, and the Hydro Majestic Refurbishment. This broad project experience of various facilities and spaces allows him to overcome any challenge efficiently and effectively.

George is hard working, resourceful, and self-reliant with a take charge attitude. He specifically pays high attention to detail and is known for fostering strong relationships between the project team and client, as well as with subcontractors. He is committed to achieving the best interests of both the client and the company, earning high regard from subcontractors and clients alike. This commitment was recognised by his peers, who both nominated and awarded George the Professional Development Award in 2020. Always keen for challenges, George’s can-do approach and friendly demeanour make him a trusted and valued member of our team.

Beyond project delivery, George’s team members highly commend him for his extremely approachable nature which fosters camaraderie and trust amongst his team. This makes George not only an exemplary leader, but a mentor who embodies Taylor’s values with integrity and kindness.  George is also an active supporter of Taylor’s Annual Hard Hat Day, championing site BBQ’s and raising important funds for homeless youth. Outside of work, George is a proud family man with five children, including his newborn son, reflecting his strong morals and family values both on and off-site.

As we celebrate this special milestone, we wish to thank George for his commitment and profound impact on Taylor. His contributions over the past decade have been invaluable, and we look forward to many more years of continued collaboration and shared achievements.
