Harmony Day Brings Team Taylor Together

Celebrating Diversity, Inclusivity and Connection Through Food Festivals.

Building upon our strong culture of connection and inclusivity, Team Taylor came together to celebrate Harmony Week 2024. With a workforce rich in cultural and linguistic diversity, we are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace, where people feel connected and accepted for their differences.

Staff at Head Office and across our project sites gathered and held various Food Festivals, sharing dishes from their cultural background with their peers. While sampling a range of cuisines, individuals shared stories and laughter as they expanded their understanding and appreciation of one another’s heritage and traditions.

From Scape Kingsford to Rosebery Engine Yards, Darcy Road Public School, Scots College, Roseville College, and our Western Sydney projects, it was great to see our site teams participation and enthusiasm. A special shout out to our Eastern Creek Site Team who each printed three images about their heritage and discussed this with each other over lunch!

Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians form all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone. It is a time to reflect on the importance of respecting each other and our differences.
