The Ewan House Refurbishment Project delivered alteration and additions to a heritage listed building, Ewan House. Located on the Knox Grammar School Preparatory campus, the purpose of the development was to align Ewan House with the School’s 21st century pedagogy and educational practices to create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable space for students, staff and visitors to utilise when visiting Ewan House.
The Refurbishment involved internal alterations and demolition to create new teaching and staff spaces, as well as modifications and additions to existing classrooms and administration areas. Additionally, the project included a new canteen fitout, new outdoor courtyard featuring an accessible lift, new ceiling and roof framing structural work, and new fire, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical services to replace redundant infrastructure.
Through our extensive experience in delivering vibrant and dynamic educational spaces, and having previously completed the Knox Performing Arts Centre, Taylor was pleased to build on our relationship with Knox Grammar School in delivering the Ewan House Refurbishment.
