Taylor was awarded Sydney Airport Corporation Limited ‘Mantra Hotel’ located at 3 Ross Smith Avenue, Mascot just around the corner from Terminals 2 and 3 used by Qantas, Virgin, Jetstar, Tigerair and Rex for domestic flights and is within walking distance of both passenger terminals. Mantra Group was appointed to manage the new hotel under the Mantra Brand.

Taylor delivered the new nine storey hotel on a floor area of 5,068m² which consists of 136 rooms with a roof level plant room and associated external car park on grade. Ground floor fit out includes a restaurant and bar area for the Hotel. The structure was constructed using precast concrete panels to the east and west elevations and curtain wall to the north and south elevations, the building required piling to 22 metre depth to bedrock.
The new Mantra Hotel complements the existing hotels at Sydney Airport and provides more choice for travelers.
