The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust has chosen Taylor to undertake the Torpedo Factory Renewal Project at Sub Base Platypus. The project is located at 120 High Street, North Sydney, and is the next stage in the Harbour Trust’s plan to revitalize this historic landmark.
The Harbour Trust protects and manages some of the most extraordinary places on Sydney Harbour. Its mission is to create a lasting legacy for the people of Australia by refurbishing historically significant foreshore sites and providing places that greatly enrich the cultural life of Sydney and the nation. Taylor is proud to support the Harbour Trust in that vision.
The renewal of the Torpedo Factory at Sub Base Platypus will create a new foreshore park, provide heritage interpretation, and improve public access, creating a welcoming new entryway that includes parking spaces for locals and visitors. The completed project will link the Torpedo Factory to the greater Sub Base Platypus site.
