The Music Precinct was the fifth project Taylor delivered for Western Sydney University, following our success on projects including WSU Kingswood Library. The project involved the fitout and refurbishment of existing Western Sydney University Kingswood Campus Buildings C & F into a new music precinct.
Works included upgrading teaching spaces, renovating office zones, and converting existing areas into new music rehearsal rooms, control rooms, live rooms, and studios. The facility was delivered for the music department and university students for both practical and theoretical use as well as offices for teaching staff.
The upgraded facilities are modern and sophisticated facilities surpassing the standards of many commercial facilities, offering students unrivalled opportunities to be the top pick for Australia’s music industry. WSU considered the completion of this building as a benchmark investment in the cultural arts infrastructure of Western Sydney.
