Taylor Marks the Start of Construction at Stockland’s Ingleburn Logistics Park Stage 3 with a Traditional Smoking Ceremony

Partnering with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to increase cultural awareness, connection and opportunity.

Projects like Ingleburn Logistics Park represent a special opportunity for Taylor to honour its vision for reconciliation.

La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Council Representatives Leslie Mcleod, Owen Wards and Jesse Currie held the Smoking Ceremony to cleanse the site in preparation for Stage 3’s construction, which is due for completion around March 2023.

Uncle Leslie led a moving Traditional Smoking Ceremony on the land of the Dharawal People where attendees including Taylor’s Jerry Fanos, General Manager Industrial, and Stockland’s Tony D’Addona Executive General Manager Logistics walked the site.

Under the guidance of Taylor’s newly established senior Industrial leadership team, the completed facility will be south-west Sydney’s premier industrial and logistics estate.

Taylor’s Industrial division will deliver Stage 3 of Stockland’s Ingleburn Logistics Park following the successful delivery of Stages 1 and 2 of the project, which has excellent connectivity to the M5 arterial road network.

Stage 3 comprises approximately 49,000 square metres across three separate buildings. Designed for 24/7 operations, it includes the design and construction of multiple warehouses with intertenancy walls, offices, undercroft parking, wide hardstand, awnings, carparks and landscaping.

Building on Taylor’s existing reputation as leaders in the delivery of large-scale industrial projects, the team will construct the earthworks pad and retaining walls in stages to allow earliest commencement of respective buildings, with warehouses 5, 6 and 7 constructed concurrently to provide simultaneous work fronts.

Stockland and Taylor aim to achieve a 5 Star Green Star rating with this development. Highly experienced ESD personnel will work alongside Jerry Fanos, General Manager, Metin Tokcan, Construction Manager, and Daniel Bacic, Pre-Construction Manager, to deliver sustainably innovative solutions to achieve this target.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with such a prestigious client.
