A warm congratulations to Adam Towner, Head of New Business and Strategy, Georgia Barnes, Senior Marketing Coordinator, Katherine Barrionuevo, Senior Design Manager, and Philip Bermingham, General Manager – Major Projects, on their recent appointments to the Property Council of Australia’s (PCA) 2023/24 committees.

Adam has been appointed to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, in which he will focus on building diversity and inclusion across the property industry. The committee champions specific networking, learning, and sponsorship opportunities. In 2022, Adam sponsored Emily Carlton, People Relations Coordinator, as part of PCA’s 500 Women in Property program – you can learn more about Emily’s experience here.

Katherine has been appointed to the Precincts Committee, which represents the interests of the property industry in precinct and innovation district promotion and formation, and its intersection with all levels of the education sector, health sector and metro precincts. An ESG champion, Katherine will work mindfully with the committee to identify challenges and barriers to growth.

Georgia has been appointed to The Future Directions Committee, designed for aspiring future leaders in the property industry. A key focus for this committee is to develop an industry networking and professional development platform for young property professionals (under 35s). Georgia is also a Committee Member of Taylor’s Women in Construction engagement program.

Philip has been appointed to the Residential Committee, where he will work with the government and wider industry to develop solutions in relation to residential property and development. Urban renewal, levies, land supply and housing affordability are among its priority areas. Responsible for Taylor’s Major Projects division, Phil’s expertise lies in large-scale, complex works requiring innovative techniques and a focus on sustainability. He has overseen projects such as the $330M UTS Central development for the University of Technology.

These appointments reflect Adam, Katherine, Georgia, and Phil’s expertise and commitment to the property and construction sector. The Taylor team looks forward to building our engagement with the Property Council of Australia and supporting Adam, Katherine, Georgia, and Phil in their new roles as we move into 2023.
