Roy’s journey at Taylor is a testament to his commitment and passion for the company. As the Head of Finance, Roy is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial data, management reporting of financial performance, budgeting and forecasting, as well as all audit and statutory compliance requirements for the company and its managed entities. With his forward-thinking approach, Roy is always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiencies for all. Roy’s contributions have been recognised by his peers, who both nominated and awarded him the Innovation and Mal Feebrey Awards, highlighting his remarkable impact on the company.
Over the past decade, Roy has not only excelled in his professional responsibilities, but has also been a pillar of support for his team. He is known for being supportive of his team members, not just in their professional roles, but also as individuals outside of work. Roy has always emphasised the importance of honesty and open communication, ensuring his team feels heard and supported in any situation. His love for sharing a good Dad joke, making a great coffee, and his efforts to create a cohesive and enjoyable work environment have made him a well-respected leader within the Finance team.
