Taylor has been awarded the Melrose Park Public School – Design and Construct Main Works Contract by School Infrastructure.
As a trusted delivery partner of Schools Infrastructure, this project continues Taylor’s strong track record of delivering high-quality educational environments across New South Wales. It also reinforces Taylor’s commitment to connecting people and spaces, creating places where students, educators, and communities thrive.
The redevelopment, located at 110 Wharf Road, Melrose Park, will support up to 751 primary students and a 60-place public preschool, responding to the area’s rapid urban renewal and population growth.
The new campus will include a one-storey preschool building, two three-storey teaching buildings with 32 classrooms, three support learning units, amenities, and service cores. The project also features a two-storey administration and library building, a one-storey hall with amenities, canteen, and OSHC, as well as two carparks and extensive landscaping. The works will involve the decommissioning of demountables and removal of redundant infrastructure.
All facilities will be designed and built to meet the Educational Facilities Standards and Guidelines (EFSG), achieve a 5-Star Green Star rating, and deliver flexible, inclusive, and safe learning spaces.
This project reinforces Taylor’s ongoing partnership with Schools Infrastructure and our dedication to delivering innovative, sustainable, and community-focused educational spaces.
