Breaking Ground in Campbelltown

Siquilla Retirement Residences

Friday marked the official start of construction at Siquilla Retirement Residences in Campbelltown, with golden shovels turning the first sod on what will become not only a place to live, but a place to belong.

We are proud to be delivering this project for Campbelltown Catholic Club, a client we have had the privilege of working with before. After completing the Rydges Hotel Expansion next door back in 2018, it means a great deal to the Taylor team to be back on this site, contributing to something that will genuinely serve this community for decades to come.

The official turning of the soil was conducted by The Hon. Anoulack Chanthivong MP, in his capacity as both Minister and Member for Macquarie Fields, together with Campbelltown Mayor Cr Darcy Lound, Campbelltown Catholic Club Chairman David McDonald, Vice President Peter Crittenden, Chief Executive Officer Michael Lavorato and Taylor’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Taylor.

A particular acknowledgement to our project partners, Centurion Project Management, StudioSC, and to the entire Taylor team who have worked hard to get us to this point. The community will start to see this project take shape above ground in the months ahead, and we are looking forward to sharing that progress.

Siquilla is designed around the people who will live there – their routines, their connections, their sense of self, and bringing a project like this to a growing Campbelltown is something the Taylor team is proud to be part of.
