Celebrating Krishnil Gounder’s 10 Years at Taylor

A Decade of Commitment, Commercial Excellence, and Team Leadership.

We are proud to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Krishnil Gounder, Contract Manager, whose commercial expertise, strong relationships, and genuine investment in the people around him have made a lasting impact across the business.

Krishnil joined Taylor in May 2016 as a Contract Administrator, bringing with him a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Architecture from UNSW. Over the following decade, he progressed to Senior Contract Administrator and, most recently, to Contract Manager, a promotion that reflects both the depth of his commercial capability and the trust he has earned across the business. As Rob Smith puts it, Krishnil has developed from a hard-working CA into a strong commercial leader, and his project history demonstrates this. From his early work on Cardinal Freeman Village and Opal HealthCare Winston Hills, through Uniting Bowden Brae Stage 2, Matilda Private Hospital Nepean, SYD08 Data Centre, to his current role leading The Renewal Project Stage 3A as Contract Manager, Krishnil has built his reputation across some of Taylor’s most complex and varied work, spanning aged care, health, data centres, and education sectors.

His skills span contract management, negotiation, and stakeholder liaison, and he is consistently recognised for his ability to manage multiple contractors while driving cost-effective, timely outcomes. Colleagues speak of someone who integrates seamlessly with his team and has strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Adam Vassallo, who has worked alongside Krishnil for four years, describes him as a well-liked and respected member of the team, always striving to do his best, keen to resolve issues as they arise, and leading by example.

What sets Krishnil apart, however, is the way he brings people with him. Matthew Famularo notes that no matter how busy Krishnil is, he always has time for everyone in the team, and that he consistently shows up to team events with genuine energy. Ervin Bunic adds that Krishnil drives positive team spirit throughout any project, no matter the conditions, continuously provides guidance and knowledge to younger team members, and actively looks for ways to build connection through catchups, lunches, and events. He also, as Ervin is keen to note, carries a half-decent golf swing that proved particularly valuable at the recent Golf Day.

Congratulations, Krishnil, on 10 years with Taylor. Your commercial leadership, your care for the people around you, and the culture you help create make you a genuinely valued member of the Taylor team.
