Taylor Charity Golf Day 2026: Swinging for a Cause

Supporting Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation for a Seventh Year.

Our 2026 Annual Charity Golf Day was proudly held on Wednesday, 25 February at St Michael’s Golf Course, bringing together our subcontractors and partners for a day of connection, competition, and community spirit.

Following a relaxed yet competitive 18 holes of Ambrose golf, players came together for lunch and presentations. Attendees heard from Kylie Stark, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Paediatric Oncology at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, who shared her firsthand experiences caring for children undergoing cancer treatment and the meaningful impact that funds raised through the event have on patients and their families.

For the seventh consecutive year, Taylor partnered with the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation (SCCF) to raise crucial funds for their outreach programs. Established in 1996, the SCCF is dedicated to giving kids a ‘sporting chance’ and financially supports mobile home care units and outreach programs, helping make life easier for children from regional areas who are living with cancer.

Over the past six years, we have raised $475,000 for the SCCF. Our fundraising has helped launch and support the James Tedesco Outreach Program at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, bringing specialist care closer to home for rural and regional NSW families.

2025 delivery highlights of the James Tedesco Outreach Program (NSW) include:

  • 52 outreach clinics delivered
  • 8–14 patients per clinic (typical)
  • 536 Outpatient Attendees
  • 314 Patients & Families Supported
  • 21 Clinicians supporting the Oncology Outreach Program
  • Across five Local Health Districts (incl. ACT)
  • Strengthening regional care through nurse education, medical grand rounds, and virtual clinical handovers

We extend our thanks to our Major Sponsor, Chalouhi, our other key sponsors, all participating teams, as well as other companies who donated prizes. Without your generous support, the event would not be a success year on year.

A special mention to Chalouhi, our Major Sponsor, who operate with family values at the heart of their business. With over 20 years of civil sector experience, Chalouhi delivers comprehensive civil construction solutions driven by in-house engineering expertise. By integrating design and construction under one company, they provide greater control, efficiency, and certainty across complex projects. Alongside demolition, remediation, ground engineering, excavation and civil works, Chalouhi also provides specialised services including piling, shotcreting, anchoring, and surveying.

A special thank you to Protecta, who facilitated a fun football passing target activation on course, keeping players entertained throughout the day with various prizes on offer.

Congratulations to our winning teams on the day:

First Place: United Rentals

Second Place: All Lift Forklifts & Access Equipment

Third Place: Auswide Scaffolding

This event has become a very important community gathering for our business and wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our loyal subcontractors and suppliers year after year. Thank you to the Charity Challenge for helping us organise another successful event. Thank you once again to everyone who participated and supported this noble cause.

We look forward to seeing you at next year’s event!
