Taylor is proud to have been the team to bring certain elements of Pirtek Stadium into the 21st century. Taylor created a modern, professional environment for the athletes which involved replacing the 30 year-old players’ rooms and the administration offices with practical and aesthetically-pleasing new facilities.
The scope of works comprised four new equal sized change rooms, medical, referee and cheerleader rooms. In addition the existing player ground access tunnel received significant structural alterations and regrading, that enabled for a smoother transition to the football pitch from the newly constructed change rooms.

All internal stadium balustrades were also upgraded with new glass and steel balustrades to improve spectator sight lines and to meet crowd loading requirements.
There were several challenges during the project due to many games played at the stadium during construction. This included Asian Champions League, NRL and A-League games. As a result, construction had to be halted and provisions were made to ensure the events ran smoothly.
