We are committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of all those who work on a Taylor project. We recognise that a safe workplace is essential in creating an environment where people can effectively contribute to achieving their personal goals and business outcomes.
Safety is deeply embedded in the Taylor culture. Being proactive and concerned for the safety of others, means that through our work practices, procedures and behaviours, that our commitment is embraced by everyone who works for us. This culture is driven from the top with strong leadership, so we like to introduce you to our Workplace Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE) Manager, Andrew Andreou.
Under Andrew’s guidance, we monitor, review and update the company’s policies and procedures to comply with all legislative requirements, as well as ensure the safety of its people and a safe workplace remains of the highest priority.
Andrew joined Taylor in 2011 and brings over 16 years of industry experience to the business. Andrew is responsible for leading and driving Taylor’s safety awareness and safe work practices and initiatives across our teams and client sites.
Our priority is that everyone returns home from work safely.

Best Practice Accreditation
Taylor has successfully delivered projects to a diverse range of clients and are committed to ensuring that the long term objectives of its clients are met and consistently deliver construction solutions that meet individual needs in a co-operative and professional manner.
Taylor has extensive experience in commercial, industrial, retail, health & aged care, education, residential, hospitality as well as fitout and refurbishment projects.
Based on this experience and expertise Taylor has attained the NSW Government’s Best Practice Accreditation for Construction Works and Design and Construction Works up to $164 million. We monitor, review and update our policies and procedures to comply with all legislative requirements and to ensure the safety of our people.
Office of Federal Safety Commissioner Accreditation
Through teamwork, leadership and continuous education we believe that accidents in the workplace can be prevented. We are constantly monitoring, assessing and implementing a company-wide framework for ensuring workplace health and safety.
This approach was recognised in November 2012, when the company achieved accreditation to the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme. This scheme rigorous sets safety management and performance standards and through its compliance, enables the company to work on Australian Government funded projects.
We take the attitude to ‘measure twice and cut once’ approach to quality. Quality for us is about attaining excellence in the level of service delivered to our clients and in doing, exceed their expectations.
Our quality assurance system has been certified to comply with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems. We provide a comprehensive framework which ensures all regulatory and stakeholder requirements are identified, implemented and maintained throughout each project.
Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
Providing a safe and healthy workplace for all staff and contractors is a commitment that Taylor takes seriously. Taylor Group’s OH&S Management System is certified to AS/NZS 4801:2001.
Taylor recognises the challenges facing the construction industry and community at large. It is committed to implementing effective environmental practices to promote sustainability across all aspects of its operations. The Taylor Environmental Management System is certified to AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004.
